Weekend in Broek en Waterlaand: Part II

On Saturday we biked to Marken, this adorable little Dutch island about 7 miles from Broek en Waterlaand . We were going to tour a clog workshop and a cheese farm, but once we got there we were just having so much fun riding around exploring the island we skipped all that! We packed a light picnic of cheese, crackers and wine, and stopped along the tiny marina to enjoy it. The scenery during the bike ride was just seriously unreal. I wanted to stop and take pictures every five seconds. I settled for every 30 :) We biked through adorable little towns, past farms with cows and horses and sheep, and best of all, right along the water. I had a smile plastered to my face the entire time. It was the most perfect little adventure for our weekend getaway!
