Brussels in Bloom

Someone e-mailed me these pictures long ago. I thought I'd share them since they are extraordinarily breathtaking.

Close to a million begonias were used to create this 300 square meter carpet. The flower carpet is arranged by hand directly onto the cobblestones in the Grand Place in Brussels. Grass and tree bark was also used to provide color. Isn't it beautiful? I'm not sure if this happens yearly or what not, but would love to see it in person someday.
