Corey and I are taking the red eye to Chicago tonight. We'll be in the city visiting Corey's brother and his wife, and then Saturday we'll be driving up to Milwaukee for our friend's wedding! I am anxious to go to a wedding as a guest for the first time since we got married! I can't wait.
I have posts lined up for the rest of the week, and next week I'll be sharing photos from our trip. Including photos of the stunning dress my mom made me for the wedding!
Wouldn't you love to attend this sweet dinner party under the golden gate bridge? I'd love to sip wine and feel my toes in the sand while I stare up at the beautiful bridge and the city lights.
Jill blogged our wedding today! It gives me chills. Seriously. Cannot recommend her enough. Aside from her photography being absolutely breathtaking and spot-on, she is the most amazingly sweet, sincere woman you will ever meet! Check out her blog post on our wedding here! And thank you for all your sweet comments Friday, I couldn't ask for more awesome readers!
I spent the entire evening last night looking through hundreds of wedding photos, and I am in love love love! There are so many and so far we just have the online gallery, not the hi-res images. I will do a full post once I get the images on disc in the mail. But for now, here are a couple teasers!
And we've been super lucky with the most beautiful crisp Autumn day today. Considering this has been one of the wettest Septembers since I was born, I'm extremely thankful for these beautiful dry days.
After moving all weekend, I'm sure it's no surprise that I've got design on the mind. I'm loving these Flor Carpet Tiles. I'll add them to my wish list!
Last night, we got the keys to our new place and Corey is with the movers as we speak! We're excited and exhausted all at once. This weekend will be spent unpacking and cleaning, but luckily we have a couples massage scheduled for this Sunday. I have a feeling it will be well-deserved. We'll also be celebrating my mother-in-law and brother-in-law's birthdays with a bowling extravaganza. Thinking about everything we have going on kind of makes me want to crawl into bed... What are you up to this weekend?
Someday, when I grow up and have a house of my own (and a lot more money), I'm going to hire Portland-based interior designer Jessica Helgerson. Her portfolio is insane. Every image had me more and more in love. I can't get over this 100-year-old Northwest Portland home she completely remodeled and made "fresh and current".
I've created a new space to share my deepening love for photography with everyone. I will still post some photos here on my blog, but a curated selection of my favorite photos will now live on my new Tumblr blog devoted solely to Liz Denfeld Photography. I will update it often with my most recent photos (including weekend snaps), and I would truly love for you to take a peek and let me know what you think! Thanks in advance for your support. You are all such an inspiration to me!
Update: It appears you can't actually add anything to your cart... Any ideas why? Maybe I spoke too soon and didn't get the full scoop on this story. Although, I'm still loving the outfits below!
Yesterday, Zara launched their online store. It was a beautiful, long-awaited day! We don't have a Zara anywhere near us in Portland, so this was very exciting news. In honor of the launch, I picked out a few outfits I'd love to "add to my cart" :) Are you all Zara lovers?
I became Mrs. Denfeld! It's hard to believe it's already been a month. Time flies when you're having fun! We're expecting wedding photos back late this week. I cannot wait to share our day with you!! Here's a photo of me and my Mama walking down the aisle, taken by one of our friends with her iPhone. Awesome, right?
Hope everyone had a nice long weekend! Ours was part adventure, part relaxation. It was quite perfect! I will post some weekend snaps once I upload photos to my computer. For now, here are my fresh cut bangs! What do you think?

Feeling a bit blah and uninspired today (although I have no excuse, the sun is shining!), but I didn't want to leave you hanging. So here's some more fun in the sand from our honeymoon.
I want to wait until we get our pictures back from Jill to share our wedding with you guys. I just know they're going to be amazing, so stay tuned!
