Four Months!

I almost forgot to mention... Exactly four months ago today we said "I do".  And since you've seen so many gorgeous professional photos, I thought I'd show you some fun personal photos..


I believe Corey was caught singing Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" and I would bet money he's singing "...somewhere in the NIIIIIIGGGGGHHHHHTTTTT" Priceless. I love this man! He is my soul mate and makes me laugh and smile every single day. I love you husband! 

My Christmas List

Well, folks. Here it is. Hoping Santa will bring me these goodies this year! 

1. Hunter Wellies. I got some knock-offs earlier this year, but my itch just hasn’t been scratched. I want the real thing!

2. Cole Haan Maria Sharapova Hobo Bag. I’m currently handbag-less and I’m thinking it’s about time I added one into my life. This one is just the right size, and I love the color!

3. A Tropical Vacation. Mexico. The Caribbean. Hawaii. Heck, I’ll take a Palm Springs weekend. I need to see the sun soon, or I might melt.

4. Canon 75-300mm f/4-5.6 Lens. I love my 50mm 1.4, but I need a zoom lens. I haven’t done a ton of research, but my one giant requirement is that it has to be affordable. Let me know if you have a zoom lens you love!

5. A KitchenAid Mixer. It would make baking much more enjoyable, and much easier. Enough said!

6. Last, but certainly not least, a PUPPY! We’re ready to add a furbaby to our lives. Look at that face!!

Newest Blog Crush

I wanted to share my newest blog obsession with all of you. Thanks to Sterling Style, I stumbled across Kendi Everyday on Saturday and pretty much spent my entire night perusing old entries and laughing my way through every post. Kendi writes a style blog and she wears the cutest outfits that are creative, but don’t try too hard. On top of her awesome style inspiration, she is gorgeous and absolutely hilarious. Her hubby takes the wonderful photos and the entire blog is just really refreshing. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Merry Monday!

Happy Monday, sweet readers! How was your weekend? Mine surprisingly felt long, which is always a good thing. We deep cleaned our apartment on Saturday in preparation of the christmas tree's arrival (I know, we're super serious about this), and yesterday we brought home a beautiful Noble Fir. We stocked up on ornaments and lights, but realized at 9 PM last night that we didn't buy any hooks for the ornaments, so we didn't get very far with the decorating. I'll keep you posted on the process and will share photos soon!

Happy Friday, friends! I am so very excited to go chop down our Christmas tree and decorate our apartment for the holidays this weekend! We've also got our first of many holiday parties tomorrow and I'm hoping to go see the movie Love and Other Drugs. Have you seen it?

Funnel Scarf

Loving this funnel scarf by Tulle. If you don't follow Mara of M Loves M (the beautiful girl in the photos), you should! She is super sweet, wears chic, effortless outfits and is planning her spring wedding and provides lots of great inspiration!

Selling: French Connection "Song Bird" Barbara Wool Coat

So, I think I've mentioned this terrible habit I have of buying things online, and if they don't fit, somehow missing the 30-day return window. Not shockingly, it's happened again. So I figured, I can make my loss your gain! I bought this gorgeous French Connection coat on Rue La La for $90 (originally over $200). It is stunning, but too small for me in the shoulders. It's a size 0 and I was just hoping to be able to squeeze into it because I loved it so much. But alas, if I had anything thicker than a t-shirt on it just wouldn't work. The collar is super cute, you can pop it up a bit for more of a funnel collar or leave it as-is.

Beaming Bride

Isn't this couple just the cutest? The bride's smile is so infectious. They look so young, vibrant and in love on their wedding day. And her dress is so simple and chic, I adore it!

Wiped Out Wednesday

Tonight is our first night without plans in over a week. Between Thanksgiving, our trip to Bend, my sister-in-law's baby shower Monday and a going away happy hour last night, I am beyond exhausted. I think I'm going to go to bed at 7. I'll be back tomorrow, hopefully with a little more pep...
