Weekend Recap & Great News

Happy Monday, all! Glad to see everyone is enjoying the Anthropologie giveaway! I knew you were all big fans :)

How was your weekend? What did you do? We went out for Italian with Corey's family Friday night and to the Portland Beaver baseball game Saturday night with our friends Meghan and Jeff! The game was kind of boring but it was super fun hanging

out with those two- they are a riot!

Also, this weekend we did something crazy and spontaneous and signed a lease for a new apartment just a few blocks from our current place! It's a brand new, LEED Platinum building and we are on the 19th floor! We are SO happy and excited. They also have this insane rooftop deck and we've already reserved the space for our rehearsal dinner. Everything is working out just perfectly. Hooray!

Dreaming...

It's a dreary, cold day here in Portland. I'm hearing it's 85 degrees in New York. I'm having a hard time even imagining what that would feel like. The thought of it made me think of our honeymoon, and now I can't stop daydreaming about being many miles away, lounging on our own private sun deck, looking out a crystal clear blue water.  Sigh... Hoping our Moorea honeymoon looks something like this:

Four Months!!!

Four months until our big day! I'm so incredibly excited, I wish it were tomorrow, but I know time will continue to fly and it will be here before I know it!

Bridal Shower

This past weekend, I had my first bridal shower. It blew away my expectations. It was above and beyond. I had the best time! And the photos are evidence of that. I had a smile from ear-to-ear pretty much the entire time. Here are some photos from the lovely event! Make sure to read the captions for some more details.

Monday, Monday!

Between two birthday parties, my bridal shower and Easter, I am feeling extremely exhausted after this weekend. Perhaps the oodles of champagne had something to do with it as well? In any case, I'll be back tomorrow with details and photos from the shower-- it was absolutely amazing! For now, the above is just a little sneak peak.
